![]() ![]() How a cook can cave so little pride in what they serve is a sad testament to the chain restaurant business. So even if, or when I ever go back, the fries will not be on the menu. The side order of fries, however misserably portioned, and they were misserably portioned, fall into the "worst fries I have ever had" catagory. The coffee was surprisingly good and refils came quick. The little bread rolls are nice, but come on, they are tiny so either bigger or a refil would be nice seen as you dont have garlic bread or crusty loaf on the menu. The scallops were the tiny little ones you buy in a frozen back in the local store for $10 that you alwas see on special, so a little dissapointing. The lobster was cooked ok, not great and was hard to seperate from the shell. The portion was not bad, could definately have been bigger. I am not usually a chain fast food style person but you know, lots of sea food and we are not near the. I have wanted to try a Red Lobster for so long. The waitress was excellent, but that is where the excitement ended. Red Lobster has always been one of our favourite restaurants, but the removal of the garden salad from the menu as well as poorer quality sauces, salad toppings and ice cream make this the only time that I have given this location anything but a 5* review. But when we tasted it, the ice cream was crystalized as if it had been allowed to partially thaw and then refrozen. It looked delicious with 2 scoops of ice cream, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Since it was my sister's birthday, Joy brought an ice cream sundae to the table. My sister chose the Caesar salad to accompany her meal and it was dressed with a diluted and tasteless product. My main course of shrimp linguini alfredo was not as appealing because the sauce was not as rich and creamy as in past visits. The clam chowder and appetizer of 3 coconut shrimp were tasty. ![]() I ordered a combo that included a soup or salad/ appetizer/ main course. It was a disappointment to find out that Red Lobster no longer offers a garden salad an an option-only Caesar salad. by our server (Joy) who was pleasant and very helpful in explaining the new menu choices. ![]() Not surprising that the place was quite busy with guests eager to enjoy a mask-less dining experience. ![]() My sister and I stopped at Red Lobster for supper on the first day of the mask mandate being repealed in Ontario. My husband and I or any of our friends will spend another dime there. If it weren’t for the fact that this is the request of my sweet daughter.I wouldn’t even consider spending money there. I’ve been a guest at this location for many years. Advertise as “first come, first serve.and don’t expect any special consideration for any special celebrations.” “We don’t accept al with it.” So you should shouldn’t advertise that you do. That’s not a restaurant that accepts reservations. So if a hoard of people come in half an hour before my reservation time, I’ll have to wait endlessly for the table I want or take whatever crap table I can get. WHY? Because they also accept walk ins and those individuals will get first dibs on tables available. on a Saturday, I was told they couldn’t promise that they would be able to honor my request of a intimate, quiet table. But because I was trying to make a reservation for 2 at 6 P.M. She didn’t want a bachelorette party.just a dinner there with me. NOT HERE!!! My dinner is a celebration of my daughter’s upcoming wedding. Now usually establishments who take reservation do so in order to accommodate the potential guest. Apparently they claim to take reservations so I tried to make one! They said they accept reservations. I called the Kitchener Red Lobster tonight.
